Disney’s The Lion King returns to Switzerland in November 2023!

The Walt Disney Company, FBM Entertainment and Mehr-BB Entertainment have announced that the award-winning musical, THE LION KING, will roar back into Switzerland in November next year. The show makes a triumphant return and will come to Zurich. Having already played at the Musical Theater Basel from March to October in 2015, with over 300’000 visitors across 250 shows. The cast of over 50 actors, singers and dancers are thrilled to return to Switzerland for this strictly limited run which is set to excite new and returning audiences alike.

The theatre opens 60 minutes prior to the performance commencing, as well as food and beverage inside the theater. The Restaurant opens 90 minutes prior to the performance. We recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the performance start time.

How long is the performance?

Approximately 2 and a half hours including one interval.

What language is the musical in?

This production will be performed in English.

Is there a minimum age to attend the show?

We recommend The Lion King for ages 6 and up. Children under the age of 3 will not be admitted into the theatre. All persons aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult and may not sit on their own within the auditorium. All persons entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket.

Does the show feature any special effects?

The Lion King contains theatrical smoke and fog effects as well as strobe lighting during parts of the show.

Can I record the performance?

The use of camera and sound recording equipment is strictly prohibited.

As a school class you benefit from a package price of CHF 77.- for students!
The offer is only open for booking until the end of August 2023.
Seats are reserved starting in category 2 on the balcony.
One teacher per 10 pupils also benefits from the package price.
